After continuous speculation, striker Cenk Tosun has officially signed for Everton FC. In a deal that is reported to be worth 22 million Euros, the German born Turkish international has joined a squad that is desperate for goals. After the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, Everton have lacked an established number 9. Cenk arrives from Turkish club Beşiktaş where he was a fan favorite and scored 14 goals this season. Tosun is known for his finishing ability as well as his work rate and strength. Cenk has been in Turkey since his move from his homeland Germany in 2011 from Frankfurt.

Everton will be looking to do more business this transfer window as a left back and midfielder seem to be targets for manager Sam Allardyche. Names such as Steven N’zonzi and Luke Shaw have been thrown about but no concrete offers have been made at this point. Everton were also linked with striker Moussa Dembele of Celtic but with the Tosun transfer this move looks unlikely. Everton have however sold three players so far this window with more sales looking likely. Ross Barkley left the club for in a 15 Million pound deal to Chelsea. Other who could depart include Davy Klaassen, Kevin Mirallas, and Sandro Ramirez all of whom have looked either poor this season or are obviously ready to leave the club.

Tosun has become somewhat known for his great goals including the goal of the Champions League so far. A stunning effort against Porto in the group stages.
