Company policy has always forbade any quotation, citation, or publicity for the most unethical publication in the United Kingdom. However, in light of the news today the members of Offside Football thought it would be appropriate to make our internal policy known to the public. In case you did not hear the news today, banners calling for a total eclipse of the S*n were spotted in Everton and Manchester City fan sections. Hillsborough could've happened to anyone. The lies could have been about us. Some things are bigger than football pic.twitter.com/cmUWDFc3IC — 1894 Group_MCFC (@1894Group_MCFC) March 19, 2017 Earlier in the season, Liverpool Football Club banned all members of the paper from any club property or facility. Since the Hillsborough disaster the shit-rag has been consistently denied any interviews with Liverpool players and personnel, but their reporters were permitted to attend press conferences and were given media credentials for matches at Anfield. That is no longer the case. Football fans everywhere will hope that more Premier League clubs come around and follow Liverpool’s example. So from all of us at Offside; don’t buy the fucking S*n.
